What happens next

  1. Tell us the basics

Business, city, website and the problem to solve.

  2. We review it

We look at your site and local search results first.

  3. We talk it through

A senior strategist calls you back with specifics.

Three ways to reach us

  • Call (604) 632-4959. Best if you would like to talk through your situation straight away.
  • Text (604) 632-4959. Best if you are busy. A few lines are enough; we will reply and suggest a time.
  • Email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Best if you want to set out more context before a conversation.

There are no forms, chat windows or booking widgets on this site. A real person reads every message.

What to include in your first message

You do not need to prepare anything. If you want the first conversation to go further, these details help:

  1. Your industry and the province or territory you operate in.
  2. Roughly how long the company has been trading, and how many people work in it.
  3. What you would like to be different in two to five years.
  4. Whether a sale, a partner, a family transition or none of these is on your mind.
  5. How you prefer to meet: in person, by video call or by phone.

A sample first text

You can copy this and fill in the brackets:

Hi, I own [Business name], a [type of business] in [City, Province] with about [number] staff. I'd like the company to be worth more and depend less on me over the next [number] years. Is there a time to talk this week?

A sample first email

Subject: Value-creation conversation for [Business name]

Hello Ali, I own [Business name] in [City, Province]. We have been operating for [number] years with roughly [number] employees. My main concerns are [for example: thin margins / everything runs through me / most revenue resets each year]. I am thinking about [keeping the company / a family transition / a possible sale] in [timeframe]. I would prefer to meet [in person / by video call]. Please let me know a suitable time.

What happens after you get in touch

  1. We reply, usually within one business day, to arrange a time.
  2. The free consultation, about 30 minutes, covers your company, your goals and the drivers that seem most important. We tell you plainly whether we think we can help.
  3. A written proposal, if you want to go further. It sets out scope, fees from our published rates, timing and terms.
  4. The assessment usually comes next. The value-driver assessment page explains what it involves.

There is no pressure to proceed after the first conversation.

Confidentiality and what we will not ask for

We treat what you tell us as confidential. In a first message, there is no need to share financial statements, customer names or anything sensitive; we will ask for documents only once an engagement is agreed, and if you want a written confidentiality agreement first, raise it and it will be dealt with in writing before anything sensitive is shared. We only email people who have contacted us first.

We do not give valuation opinions, legal, tax, securities or real-estate trading advice, so please take those questions to your CPA, your lawyer or a qualified valuator. We are happy to explain how our work fits alongside theirs.

Before you call

If you would like some background first, our guides cover the value drivers, margin work, recurring revenue, the first 100 days of a plan, owner dependency and a monthly value dashboard. The about page explains who we are and how we work, and the FAQ answers common questions about cost and contracts. Owners across all provinces and territories can see our coverage notes.

Frequently asked questions

Is the first conversation really free?

Yes. The initial 30-minute consultation is free and carries no obligation. It is a chance to describe your company and goals and hear honestly whether and how we can help.

Can I just send a text?

Yes, please do. (604) 632-4959 receives texts, and two or three lines are enough. We reply and arrange a time to talk.

Do you meet in person or online?

Both. We meet owners in person and online by video call, and we also work by phone, text and email. Tell us which you prefer.

Should I send financial statements in my first message?

No. Keep the first message short. If we agree to go further, we will ask for documents and arrange a secure way to share them.

What if I am not sure I am ready?

That is a good reason to talk. Many owners contact us a few years before they want anything to change, which is exactly when value-creation work is most useful.
